I did and I am still getting the Me FW Downgrade – Request MeSpiLock Failed message. So it didn’t work. Also note the latest bio 2.1.3 installed on my system in February 2016 was released in Jan 20, 2016. The solution suggested by you was suggested in Nov-Dec 2015. This system was purchased with Windows 10 already installed in early Nov 2015.

I updated the bios but, again, no help. From reading the forum posts (in the Lenovo Forum) there seems to have been some issues already with that Intel firmware .

I have an Inspiron 7559 that is failing to boot. It displays (A7) Me FW Downgrade – Request MeSpiLock Failed just after showing the white Dell logo. I think my daughter turned it off when an automatic BIOS upgrade was started. The system was reporting the BIOS was at 1.2.0 but it couldn’t see any USB drives.
